The Gannet Inn - St Ives (Cornwall)

Simply no reason to complain, very nice stay. Great assortment of muesli and pastries for breakfast. Lovely and fantastic position: a short walk to a railway station. Found in the very relaxing area.

You can have pastries and muesli for breakfast. The staff is attentive, makes sure that the place is clean.

We stayed in a Standard Double or Twin Room. It was clean and well-decorated but a bit small. The bathroom was nice and had a great shower. The windows only opened slightly, made the room a bit warm at night. We had to figure out how to open them wider for better airflow. It was comfortable but could use some tweaks.

Can't rave enough about the dining scene! The breakfast spread was great, with plenty of scrumptious choices to fuel a beach day. The Gannet's seasonal dishes pack a flavorful punch. Plus, the staff were lovely!

Couple's Relaxing Retreat

We had a lovely sea view room that couldn't of been more lovely. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices, I loved the cooked Gannet breakfast with the perfect poached egg!

It was a bit pricey, but still acceptable for the experience we had.

Enjoyed relaxing evenings at the terrace, though noise became an issue late at night. Tip, arrive early for parking since it fills up quickly. Family room feels slightly cramped for longer stays.

I had a wonderful short stay with spacious rooms that were tastefully furnished and clean, made my weekend strolls around town all the more enjoyable, especially visiting the Barbara Hepworth Museum and enjoying the views at St Ives, just a short distance away. The staff were friendly and efficient, contributing to an overall relaxing experience.

Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the use of the spa and the beach. It was nice to walk downhill to the beach. The room had a nice view of the garden, and I appreciated the comfy bed. I liked the quirky decor in the common areas as well. My family enjoyed the kids club during the holiday.

I had a fantastic stay, especially enjoying the cozy roll-top bath and the heavenly breakfast options. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was immaculately clean. Definitely returning!

Cozy stay with fab service

We had such a nice time! The staff were super friendly, especially Helen and Hanna. The room was cozy and clean, and the food was great-gotta love the homemade biscuits! Only thing was, some of the food options felt a bit pricey for what you got.

The room was cozy and well-furnished. The breakfast was a delightful way to start the day! I loved having access to relaxing massages and sun loungers for a chill afternoon. The only minor drawback was the lack of a proper surface to unpack my suitcase, but overall, I had a great time! 😊

We spent a lovely day at the beach and then enjoyed fantastic meals at the hotel. Don't miss the short walk to the coast path. It's worth it! Breakfast was a treat.

Perfect little getaway

We had an awesome 3-night stay! The room was super cozy with a fab seaview. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was tasty-loved the made-to-order dishes! Only wish the bathroom had a bit more privacy. Perfect location for exploring St Ives without driving around!
